Presentation: 12 oz. bottle poured into a shaker glass.
Appearance: Straw in color. The beer pours with a decent head, but it quickly fades. The head subsides to a slightly creamy foam lace.
Smell: Clean; with dusty grains and grassy hops dominating. Some green bottle skunkiness looms in the background.
Taste: Crisp and refreshing - the malts in this beer are nicely balanced out by the hops. The carbonation is rather vibrant and the finish is quite clean and crisp, and rather dry, with only some lingering sweetness in the background.
Overall: A nice Euro-lager this is. It's pretty average for the most part, but it's a good example for its style and one of the better mainstream German lager beers, beating out Beck's, Warsteiner, and St. Pauli Girl.
