Picked up a can of this on a recent trip to Belgium.

A-Looks like an American pils-crystal clear and straw yellow with a white sticky head.

S-Not much beyond your normal American lager, just a hint of ale yeast.

T-A little bit of fruity yeast esters, gets stronger as the beer warms. Otherwise not that far off from PBR.

M-Thin, highly carbonated, alcohol warming finish.

D-ok

O-Nothing outstanding here, a cheap beer for mass consumption. Weak malt backbone, just a hint of Belgian yeast to give this any character. (522 characters)

50 cl. picked up from the nightshop. Drank straight from the can. Smell is sweet rye, caramel, black bread & raw booze, less bad than expected. Thaste is a mix of very bitter leaves, bark & forest upfront followed by brown sugar, rye, dark bread, hersb & raw unfiltered booze. Pretty okay to drink but feels heavier than 6.6 % ABV. Okay by Gordon standards. (357 characters)

A: clear straw-blonde colour, decant head, quite a lot of carbonation

S: not much there, some hops, a hint of lemon, some alcohol

T: tastes a bit like a sweeter and hoppier pilsner with a lot of alcohol. There is also a corn and metallic taste that isn't really pleasant but doesn't completely wreck it.

M: rather thin, but okay; i would want less but stronger carbonation, too much alcohol

O: is this a bad beer not really, but it's good as a strong Belgian blond beer. It belongs to the stronger pilsner-like beers like Jupiler Tauro. You won't seek this out unless you want a stronger but not a particularly good beer. (633 characters)
