The result of mystical exhortation and strange portents in the sky, Humble Patience was complex without being heavy...a marriage of many riches. An Irish-Style, deep-ruby Red Ale with tantalizing layers of flavor.

I get a smell of chocolate malts and earthy, floral hops. It starts with some spiciness from the hops with chocolate.creamy, toffee malts in the middle and then ending with the floral earthy bitterness.
its a very straight forward beer but my favorite thing about it is that is a creamy, chocolate malt of a beer and its only 4.6 percent...thats so awesome. This beer impresses me and makes me think even higher of Magic Hat Brewery.
It tastes like Samuel Adams might have made this beer but it really is robust in taste. The chocolate malt taste sticks with you in the smell and taste. The earthy, floral bitterness balances out the what would have been a sweet beer into an amazingly well balanced irish red. One of the tastiest I've had...especially for such a local alcohol percentage.

Catch up rating form notes, 2012: Bottle from my brother-in-law (this is back in the day when Magic hat was a big deal). Medium dark amber, small foamy head. Aroma is malty, slightly ashy, roasty malts. Taste is more of the malts, not sweet, but nutty and dry. Decent consistency and feel.
