The result of mystical exhortation and strange portents in the sky, Humble Patience was complex without being heavy...a marriage of many riches. An Irish-Style, deep-ruby Red Ale with tantalizing layers of flavor.

When i first tried this I was extemely disapointed because this was just Bob's first renamed and repackaged. But having tried this nitro'd on tap I'd have to say it is a little different. The head is, of course, thicker and creamier like all nitro'd beers but it seems to add a satiny mouthfeel through out the whole beer. It still has the same flavours as it did when it was called Bob's first but it is better to look at and more interesting to drink. I do disagree with them claiming that this is the way Bob ment the beer to be.

Catch up rating form notes, 2012: Bottle from my brother-in-law (this is back in the day when Magic hat was a big deal). Medium dark amber, small foamy head. Aroma is malty, slightly ashy, roasty malts. Taste is more of the malts, not sweet, but nutty and dry. Decent consistency and feel.
