gladly scooped up the last multi-pack from giant eagle. it was on sale because the freshness dat was july 31 and it's now almost 2 weeks into august. under the cap reads "love is blind to your behind"
A- beautiful golden tangerine clementine body with a thick billowy smoke effect from the yeast drifting toward the bottom of my pint glass. the cloudy hefe was topped by 2in of frothy toothpaste spit head that dissipated quickly to 1/8in with lots of chunky lace. i left 1/2 the yeast in the bottle cuz there seemed to be a excessive amount.
S- sour orange, apricot, lemon balm like i grow in my garden, wheat, grains, herbal fermenting citrus like bad OJ, spicy clove, coriander, alcohol.
T- typical citrus like orange and lemon peel, clove and nutmeg, pineapple, agave nectar, mild hops. i make my own dandilion wine every spring and this beer had an uncanny taste resemblance. tart from the citrus and a run-of-the-mill ordinary fleishmann's yeast quality which i like in my wine but not in beer, that reminded me of miller high life with a spicy citrus kick and a fruity hop finish.
MF- sticky and dry with too much carbonation as i'm noticing with most magic hat beers. makes me want something more reputably american.
D- definitely refreshing but with lackluster and/or out-of-place characteristics. i've had more than a few better examples of wheat ale and hefe.

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
Look: A hazy golden, almost orange-tinted body. A white head recedes quickly to a few patches of wisp. No lacing.
Aroma: Mold malt sweetness, faint orange citrus.
Taste: Begins with a malty backbone, with citrus and tanginess around it. Pretty bright finish, really tart.
Mouthfeel: Really bright and carbonated.
Overall: I liked this at the beginning but the longer I sipped on it the more harsh it became.
