An ale of enlightenment created to aid in deciphering the puzzles along life's road, and to interpret signs in the voyages of the spirit. Blind Faith is an extremely well-balanced India Pale Ale with a crisp, refreshing hop bitterness and a deep malt body to match.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle marked best by August 13th into an imperial pint glass.
Appearance: Goddamn, this is one perfect looking IPA. Pours a very deep orange with two fingers worth of pillowy head. The lacing is absolutely perfect and the head retention is great. Can't ask for more from the style.
Smell: Citrusy hops. It's an IPA, no bones about it.
Taste: Citrusy (lemon and orange) hops are front and center here, but they're well-tempered by some malts that come in just a bit later. It's pretty accessible for an IPA, it's not overly bitter but you can still taste the hops.
Mouthfeel: Light and carbonated - a refreshing IPA.
Drinkability: Stellar for an IPA. The balance in the bitterness makes this much more drinkable than most IPAs are.
It's a shame this is a limited release, not to come back until whenever the hell Magic Hat feels like bringing it back. I'd session the hell out of this, but I only got my hands on three bottles that I've been clinging to ... this is my last one.

Amber look to it, nice head. Foamy and lacing. The taste doesn't really pop. But it does have malt finish and tones of flight coffee bean.

Has nice bitterness to it, which is increasingly uncommon especially in the English IPA category.

A: crystal clear; burnt orange in color; 2 finger khaki head that receded to a thin cap; very nice lacing;
S: not very aromatic; earthy with malt behind it;
T: earthy, floral, and malty; malt dominates at the finish; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: OK, but not something I would seek out again;
