Pours a deep amber color with an off-white head that retains OK. The aroma is nice but a little one dimensional, with a big toasted bread/biscuit character upfront, followed by some mineraly hops, and a little yeastiness. The flavor has that same toasted bread/biscuit character from the aroma, followed by some earthy and mineraly hops, a little caramel and a touch of yeast. The mouthfeel is a little more rich that you'd expect from this kind of lager but it's not distracting. Drinkability is excellent. This is a really nice spring beer, it's a one trick pony but it's a good trick. This seems more like a Vienna lager than an American amber lager but whatever
