Magic Hat Graupel Wheat Wine from the Humdinger Series filled my snifter with an orange/gold hue producing a 3/4 finger bubbly off-white head that disappeared rather quickly. The head was reduced to a collar of small bubbles. The nose is light dominated by grapefruit hops with alcohol in the background. The taste as the nose was dominated by hops with an alcohol bite. Wheat was present in the background. A slight bitter aftertaste was present also. The ale was medium bodied with the wheat attributing to a smoother mouth feel.
Overall, an average wheat wine ale. After my review it paired well with salsa and chips.
