HiPA was served from a 22 oz. bomber with a interesting illustration on the label...looks like this should be good/bizarre. In a pint glass, the beer was a honey-yellow color and was topped by a thin white head. The nose was very nicely developed, with a citric zest-herbaceous-resiny hop bouquet and a supporting mild sweetness. The taste presented a rich, citric-zested full malt profile that opened up with a excellent level of limey-citric bitterness that traveled through into the wonderful citric-bitter finish. The flavors are spot on and delicious...quite similar to a favorite IPA of mine, the PNW classic Bridgeport IPA. The body was supportively full with and the right amount of energetic carbonation. HiPA lives up to its flashy labeling and delivers highly tasty and satisfying flavors.
