Poured into a chalice.
A very bright example of the style, in appearance, taste and mouthfeel. There's a scent and taste of honey and citrus, and a bready, bitter taste (almost like sourdough bread). It's maltier than I tend to prefer my IPAs, and is reminding me of a Belgian ale in many respects. That isn't bad, per se, just not on the same side of the spectrum as hoppier offerings like Lagunitas. It's still pleasant and bright on the palate, definitely different from the dependable-yet-mediocre offerings I've come to expect from Magic Hat.
