At the brewery, served in tasting glass.
Appearance - brown/gold color, some slight hints of reddish tones. Decent foamy tan head. Not too persistent, but some decent cling.
Smell - toasty biscuit aroma, pretty grainy. Light resinous hops with some grassy/earthiness.
Taste - sweet, toffee, I found it had an odd bitter kick at the end of the taste. Sweetness was OK. Some resinous hop character, a touch of earthiness. Decent flavor except for the odd bitterness. Didn't seem overly aggressive on the hops.
Mouthfeel - nicely carbonated and medium bodied. Taste lingers a bit, I wouldn't call it "clean".
Overall - a decent beer, easy drinking, but not something I would seek out. The color was off based on what others are describing, so I wonder if there is some variability?
