De Labirratorium. En copa Weihenstepha er. Jugando a Fortnite y estudiando. No está mal. Tiene un sabor maltoso agradable pero nada que justifique ese elevado abv, echándosele en falta mayor expresividad

From the bottle, it pours a ruby brown with a nice tan head that lasts a bit. The nose gets the malty scent with some caramel in it. The mouth revels in the somewhat sweet malty flavor. I don't get the alcohol, but this is just shy of it's "best by" date, so maybe it mellowed out a bit.

Served vigorously in a seidel, it pours a beautiful light copper, crystal clear, with a two-finger head, sudsy, creamy, with good retention.

The aroma is of malty sweetness, caramel, and I think that a previous reviewer nailed it when he wrote strawberry, there is a hint of strawberry too. Unfortunately the bouquet is a bit shy.

The flavor follows the nose, but it adds a slight bread hint and a boozy note too that makes you think of a spirit/wine. Sweet beer, and complex in its sweetness.
The finish is long and with that boozy note again.
Chewy mouthfeel.

As always, just be careful with the serving temperature, the first chugs were actually bitter and a bit flat.

I would have this beer again.

L- Bright red/amber body, frothy head with noticeable bubbles, very low retention. It even looks like wine.
S- Very sweet. Molasses, caramel, malts.
T- Bready, dry fruits and alcohol. It has a sweet wine finish with a boozy punch.
F- Heavy, a bit sticky. Not smooth.
O- Does live up to the unique style with the wine notes. Still it is has a bit too much alcohol notes in taste. Anyone should try this for the experience, but this is not a beer I would buy again.

It's not really rosé, per se, more amber and orange with a fine brownish head on top.
The nose is lots of malts, Pils and Münchner malts, basically like a Märzen should smell. It's also got a full-bodied, very nice chewy mouthfeel.
The flavor is slightly bitter up front, sweet and caramel malts and a tangy alcohol feeling on the tongue. The middle gives me more malts, more Märzen-like qualities and a little more tangy brandy-like alcohol flavor. The end and aftertaste is pure malts, caramels, a little bitterness and a slight burning alcohol flavor.
It basically tastes like a Märzen/brandy mix. On the Schmucker webpage they call it "full-bodied, vinous, sweet, soft, mildly bitter." That vinous quality comes through like a barely wine would, and at 8%, it's near that territory in alcohol. Not bad… wow? Not quite, but very good I'll buy this beer again. It's very very good and relatively cheap at about 1€ per 0.5L bottle. Maybe a solid 4.3 rating.
