A: 1 1/2 fingers worth of head; very bright pale color. The head came down quickly but the carbonation was very noticeable.
S: Hoppy, quite grainy smell - possibly some sort of barley in the aroma. Also a malty attribute in the smell.
T: This beer on first taste was so surprising that it wasn't great; however, as the beer went on it just got better and better. The unique flavor of the beer is among the best of all IPAs I've had - the hop aspect of the ale is executed to near perfection.
M: Average mouthfeel; not overly smooth or harsh.
D: Enjoyable but probably difficult to have a lot of due to bitterness.
This was a very interesting and fun beer to drink. Different from any other IPA I've had.

Last of my beers courtesy of Newman
Brilliantly clear, on the gold/amber bolder, but fairly pale. Pours a nice tight head, creamy and with nice retention.
Rich hop aroma, more on the pine side. Has some malty notes in support to balance out the aroma. Sampling fairly cold, but feel like their might be a little alcohol just out of reach in the nose.
Wow, hops! Big, solventy but not overpowering hop flavor, a piney/earthy flavor with a hint of nuttiness. I know the malt is there, but it is buried under the hops. Hop bitterness in the finish is intense yet somehow smooth.
Borderline tongue scraper in terms of hop bitterness on the tongue, but not overly astringent. Some definite warming, not out of line for the style. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.
A really expertly crafted beer. How it could be so hoppy without much in the way of harshness was impressive to me. The nature of the hop flavor isn't my personal favorite, but they used the hops to maximum advantage.
