So this guy poured a solid motor oil with off white head. The only bad thing about this beer is that it smelled of feet (my friend said "BO"). Luckily, the flavor was rich chocolately goodness. Medium-heavy body and tastey, overall it gets a decent score. The nose thing was odd though so I recommend keeping your honker out of it.

sampled on tap at hopcat in grand rapids dec 20/08.
pours deep brown, not quite black or opaque, with a small dense tan head. the head drops fast and leaves only a few spots of lace.
aroma is neat. bit of alcohol. then there is a bit of wacky spice character. clove and cinnamon? bit like a weisse. milk chocolate. white bread. touch of cracker. just a hint of sourness that makes me think more of a berliner weisse than the usual baltic sourness.
taste is good. milk chocolate. toasted multi-grain bread. cracker. i definitely get that neat berliner weisse character - touch of drying sourness, bit grainy. low bitterness level. touch of alcohol.
mouthfeel is good. medium-light body with a fairly dry finish. medium-low carbonation level.
drinkability is good. nice balance and an interesting twist. this falls a little far from what i'd expect from my favourite style, but it's neat. good stuff.
