Poured from 12oz bottle.
A- Pours a darker grapefruit like pink color. Two finger light pink head that showed medium retention. Some streaky lacing on the glass but nothing too much.
S- This is plain and simple but delivers a punch. Lots of berries in the nose. Nothing more nothing less with the fruit. Some light bready malts in the backing. The fruit really seemed to jump out there.
T- Berries, berries, and more berries! Raspberries, strawberries, light plum and citrus notes throughout the entire beer. Some light bready malts in the middle of the beer with a touch of grain to them. More fruit on the backend of the beer with light alcohol in the very last second of the beer.
M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation was good for the beer. Berry flavor dominates the palate and long into the aftertaste. The balance on this beer is actually good even though it leans on the berries heavily. Light alcohol drying on the palate. Clean flavors through and through.
D- The ABV is well hidden in this beer. It delivers as a fruit beer should. A little girlier?? Maybe but the ABV isn't. It's easy to lay down a sixer of these without trying. I don't know if that's a good thing yet or not ;)

Pours a pink hazy color. Head was 1/5 of and inch, white with a pink tint. Head retention and lacing were mediocre at best but the beer was such a pretty color, I decided to boost up the rating a small amount.
Smell is of strawberries and raspberries, similar to a jar of jam. Pale straw malts are also detected, apparently this beer is made with rye but i don't get any on the nose.Getting some smells of belgian yeast similar to what you'd find in a tripel. Aroma of alcohol is light in the end.
Taste is full on fruit; lots of raspberries and strawberries with some blackberries in background. Very light malts are also in the mix, again, I don't get any rye. No hops are detected either, some medicinal alcohol is tasted in the finish.
Mouthfeel is very light and effervescent, similar to a champagne or rose. No head is present which is a shame, could have used some to cut astringent aftertaste.
Overall, this was a tasty fruit ale but it was pretty one note. Could have benefited from more body but it is a good alternative to sparkling wine or hard ciders. Good beer but not available in my area, wouldn't try too hard to trade for it
