A-a deep ruby hued brown with just a touch of lacing around the top
S-very mild malts with a fruity aroma to it
T-much richer, and better, than expected when compared to the aroma. Roasted malts predominate with some coffee and chocolate bitterness and caramel
M-medium body, mild carbonation, leaves a touch of bitterness in the mouth
I wasn't impressed by the smell, but the taste was actually very nice. Could easily have a couple of these

A- Chestnut brown color nice and deep but clear. Small head that disappears quickly.
S- Strong cocoa and roasted caramel. Delicious.
T- Cocoa, chocolate, roasted caramel. Lots of roasted malt backbone around. Smooth finish
M- Creamy, smooth. Paves the way to the gullet with a feather bed like feeling.
O- Very good example of a brown ale. Well suited for a late fall bon fire. One of my favorite Shorts brews.
Serving type: on-tap
