2012 12oz bottle
A: Pours a deep ruby red/orange color with 2 inches of frothy, creamy, white head that leaves some nice lacing
S: Huge grapefruit and sweet caramel malt presence in the nose. This smells really good.
T: Very strong, grapefruit sweetness up front, a little bit bitter in the back. The malt really takes a backseat and is weaker in the taste than in the nose.
M: Medium bodied, lots of carbonation. I thought it was perfect for this style.
O: I really enjoyed this beer and thought they did a good job with it. I would pick it up if I saw it again. It is worth a try if you see it.
