Sampled from a 12oz bottle in a tulip pint glass. Thanks surge1311!

A - Golden and extremely clear with a small white head that dissipates quickly. A slow but steady rise of small bubbles.

S - Guava, huge at first but then more subtle, with hints of tangerine and pineapple.

T - Follows the smell with guava and tropical fruits. Crisp with a mild bitterness. It's an odd combination but it gets you. I found myself wavering between "that's just too much" and "wow, I like that".

M - Thin with a mild carbonation.

O - An interesting combination of flavors. Not an everyday beer but well worth a try.

Thanks Boilermakerryan for this one!

A - Pours a bright orange, somewhat hazy but very vibrant in color. Decent near white/light tan half finger head, retention is so so, lacing is fantastic!

S - Smells fantastic, pine and a pretty hefty caramel malt aroma. Mild grainy aromas.

T - Lots of APA fruity flavors - apples/pears, mildly bitter pine flavor, slightly peppery and grainy with a fantastic sweetness at the finish. Not very bold, a little too weak imo - bottled about 2 months ago so perhaps past its prime.

M - Light bodied, super refreshing, appropriate/slightly light carbonation.

O - Pretty decent, very refreshing, just not very bitter/hoppy

Pours a golden copper orange that's somewhat cloudy. Not much of a head on this with no retention. Looks nice in color lacks a bit of character.

Smells very different then any typical east or west coast IPA. A peppery spicy hop note comes first. Lots of pine and bready rye.

Taste is so much different and refreshing. This has all the ipa bitterness but blends it well into a spicy, peppery pine note. There's tropical fruity note that blends well and definitely lets you know this was brewed with fruit.

Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated with some sticky quality. Chewy and round.

Overall, this is a great, refreshingly different ipa. Something I could see myself craving every once in a while and would love to try this on tap.

A - Pours a light copper with a thin white foamy head.

S - Lots of tropical fruits (guava, mango, & peach) with a faint floral hop aroma.

T - Follows the nose. Tropical fruit right upfront. The tropical fruits fade into a nice piney hop finish. Finish also has a somewhat sour citrus aftertaste.

M - Thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit watery. Dry crisp finish.

O - I really dig this beer. Lots of nice tropical flavors. Highly drinkable.

12oz bottle poured into Block 15 tulip - thanks erikkoppin

Pours a crystal clear caramel copper color with a cropping of off-white head resting on top. Spotty lacing dots the glass with some wispy film left behind.

Alluring mix of tropical tones in the nose with guava and pineapple. Hops sting the nose with soft sweetness, caramel and toasted grains.

Pungent bitter hops right up front with a tempering fruity base, driven by guava, pineapple and mango. Bitter, yet extremely juicy throughout with a creamy malted backbone. Touches of caramel and bread crust with a slightly warm, hoppy, fruity finish.

Medium body, decent carbonation, sticky and juicy on the tongue. This is a great example of Short's ability to produce some really unique, delicious beers that don't go completely off the rails. When they're on, they're something worth seeking out.
