12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/4/2013. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, pineapple, orange zest, grapefruit, tangerine, pine, floral, grass, light honey, bread, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity of hop notes with a fair amount of malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big lemon zest, pineapple, orange zest, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Large amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; with no cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a fantastic session IPA! All around great complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Appearance: orange in color. a touch of hazy and a big foamy off white head
Smell: hops, citrusy floral smells. bitter with not much else to balance
Taste: strong hop bite. resiny, floral and citrus. some slight pale malts
Mouthfeel: extremely strong hop bite with a light body
Overall: a good ipa, but for a light drinker I want less of a bit more refreshing, the hop strength would go better with a heavy complex beer
