This is the new Kings Head Bar, Belfast i'm reviewing, only been open a couple of months
Situated near the Kings Hall Belfast, on the lisburn road
Nice looking bar, modern, with a wide range of well priced but gastronomically delicious food
The beers on offer mainly encaptulate german, belgian and british
There is a full range of frankiskaner and erdinger wheats, leffe, hoegaarden and a few english brews like ruddles and black sheep
Some great real ale from the local whitewater brewery, 3 on cask plus a guest ale, pretty proud of what the whitewater brewery is producing
There are however a few really odd random brews, simply to add to the ''foreign appeal'' and range, frankiskaner represents some of the best german wheats, but castle from sa?
But, they have 2 offerings from anchor, which is fantastic to see as they make some amazing beers
A good little bar, besides the kitchen bar (which has now been knocked down) its the only real beerbar in belfast
A strange beer selection, while I will pay £3 for anchor steam/porter or even £3.50 for frankiskaner hefe, i will not pay £3 for corona or castle
All in all not bad, a bit up its arse, too modern, and they have dress codes and only serve 20+ (the legal drinking age here is only 18), still, while i was there i had anchor steam and a frankiskaner dunkel with my smoked bacon, brie and red pesto wrap at a rather affordable £4.99
