Picked up growler. Pours a beautiful reddish copper with a nice wispy white crown.
Smell is incredible. Very floral hop profile. Not overwhelming with grapefruit. Pine and green hop buds.
Immediate hop rush makes your mouth come alive. Very hoppy in the flowery/earthy feel. Clean cracker malt is semi-sweet and in my opinion, near perfection to make the hop sparkle.
Mouthfeel is moderate and creamy with lower carbonation, enough to make this libation ever so crisp.
Tremendously tremendous! On-tap is the way to go for this one. This, to me, is pure hop juice. Probably the most hop forward brew I've had on tap next to Two Brothers Hop Juice Black. Gotta love that Illinois water. Absolutely incredible for style and well crafted. Awesome job!

Appearance: Incredible red-copper ale with excellent body/carbonation and a ton of tan foam/lacing.
Smell: Fresh pine and sweet caramel. Simple, but excellent balance.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Subtle fresh pine with caramel and a hint of orange. Good crispness in the mouthfeel:
Overall Drinkability: Reminds me of the red/amber ales from the Southwest. Superb.

I got this as part of an M&M 6pk from Binny’s in Downer’s Grove, IL in spring 2012.
It pours a reddish brown color with only a slight head. The scent is mild with bitter hops with some toasted malts lingering behind. The taste is very true to the red ale characteristics. It is very smooth with a good toasted malt flavor that finishes with a good crisp after taste. Very well made indeed.

Nice appearance, slightly cloudy red/orange color, lots of head with good retention. Very good taste, you can taste the hops up front and there is a mild bitter aftertaste. Smooth and easy drinking. Overall an above average example of a fairly unexciting style.
