my favorite brewery in the city of new orleans, great location great people, great oysters, the beer is fantastic, can be enjoyed with the best people watching in the world. the beer was golden and hoppy and delicious.

I would highly recommend going to this little brewery in new orleans and samplig several beers, and the great food.

Appearance. Good. Orange with a nice head.

Smell: Hops predominate. American hops. Herbal, floral, piny nose.

Taste: Good. Some malt sweetness followed by a very bitter finish. Malt could be a little more pronounced. Still, an excellent example of a AIPA.

Mouthfeel and drinkabilty: Good. A very drinkable beer.

On a recent trip this was their seasonal. A specialty for a German style brewpub. Golden orange with a pretty big head. Substantial lacing gripped the pint glass. Smelled of hops and some biscuity notes also. Mouthfeel was a bit thin for the style, but the hoppy flavor was there. Overall pretty drinkable and the best in the house.

This was the special brew of the day. Orange in color with a thick 2" head. Some lacing developed. Nice floral aroma. The flavor is full of hop tones and the malt is slighlty thinner than expected, but the floral components make up for this. This is an IPA that is not overly bitter but full of hop flavor.

Smooth mouthfeel. Medium bodied. The bitterness rides well into the aftertaste. Very drinkable and by far the best Crecent City brew I have had there.

Orangey copper color with a yellow-beige, frothy head about an inch high. The head recedes quickly, but leaves lace and webbing around the inside of the glass. Inviting aroma of hops and orange peel rises up to greet the nose and tease the tongue. Mouthfeel is full and smooth, leading to a bright hops flavor tinged with sweet citrus. Bits of pear and honey come through lightly in the finish, and a hop bite lingers. I love this one.
