As with all beers at Crescent City, this one was poured into a large Pilsner-Heffe hybrid type glass. The beer is copper bordering on amber. There is a thin beige head.

The beer has a nose of grains and raw sugar.
The beer is sweet with a strong grainy taste. There are some plums and hint of spice (maybe from the hops?) at mid-glass. Becomes less sweet near the finish.

I thought it was too sweet to session, but the one I had did go down easy.
