On 13th Nov 2013 I had a little lager/pilsner tasting session with the wife: two French, a UK brewed Budweiser and two other 'craft' UK lagers. This green dumpy 25cl bottle was the first one.
Looked OK in the Veltins badged stemmed tulip: gold to light amber in colour, snow white head that faded swiftly.
Malts in the nose and taste, not bad for a weak ABV brew. I preferred it to the other Saint Omer beer we had and the Bud (which came last score wise).
I'm not saying this is a wonderful beer or any such thing, but it had flavour and although obviously cheap and mass produced it did fine against other more expensive brews. I'd love to use it in a blind tasting to see what others thought.
