Brewed by Saint-Omer, prominently labeled as Dia's house brand on the front (with S-O's details on the back).
Pours a dusty, dusky gold, very light. A minimal head settles down into pond scum. Not fantastic.
Smell is sour lager yeast, metal, some light candi sugar, and a hint of green pear skin. Odd, and off-style. Not impressive.
Taste is more of the same, with an intensely unpleasant finish. Barely better thanthe smell, but still pretty terrible. No Belgian yeast profile; really, more of a French malt liquor.
Mouthfeel is pretty much on-point. Foamy, full, oceanic. Not too shabby. Could be just a touch more pillow-soft.
Overall, pretty awful. What were they thinking? Avoid.
