Located a block down from the main drag of Church Street. Nice downtown location. Parking is street or parking garage.
Interior is nice and inviting. The stone hearths are nice center pieces of the the rooms.
The flatbread is good but not great. Not very flavorful but maybe designed to complement the beer. The salads are great!
Beers are varied and nicely served.
Staff is knowledgeable but not necessarily the most friendly.
Nice price wise. Beers are not expensive at all. I would go here again but maybe at a time with less kids.
At first I was surprised this was as highly rated as it was. It didn't stand out like others. Then I realized I hardly that it was a pretty good place at an outstanding price.

This was stop #9 for my wife and I on a 9-day East Coast pub crawl and a family visit. The brewery is located in a storefront setting in the busy downtown area. It appears that there is an outdoor eating area in an open space next to the building. (We visited the pub on the day that they closed the street in front in order to have a 10th Anniversary celebration, and the place was packed inside, on the patio and in the street.)
We stopped here to try their beers, and we also ordered a snack to go along. There were 14 beers available, but since this brewery did not offer a sampler flight we did our best to evaluate their beers by ordering 4 pints. Each of them was brewed to style, and each had characteristics that exceeded the style slightly so that overall we scored our 4 beers at a B-minus grade. The Conehead Wheat IPA was the notable one of our selections.
The pizzas that we saw being delivered to adjacent tables looked and smelled good, and our bread sticks that we ate were very tasty. However, this review does not include a score for this category.
The descriptions of many of the other beers sounded tempting, and we would have enjoyed tasting them is samplers were available. But we know our limits, and it had been a long day. We’ll come back here to try some of the other beers if we’re ever back this way again.
