A:
Pours a hazy, reddish hazelnut brown with three fingers of puffy beige head that clumpily settles to one finger or so. Good retention; spider web-like lacing.

S:
Rich, dark malt with yeasty esters. Dark fruits, nuts, leather, and some other woody kind of hop smells.

T:
Dry and earthy-tasting. Lots of floral hops up front with some mellowing bready malt tastes at the finish.

M:
Thin and dry with a tingly hop character and a warm finish.

O:
Okay take on a brown.
This is a beautiful-looking, different-smelling, hoppy-and-dry-tasting, thin-feeling beer and although I may be being hard on it it was not bad. It is not what I was expecting by any stretch of the imagination, but it was not a terrible beer. A very aromatic beer that is hoppier and drier than I usually anticipate with a brown.
Might have again; if you want to try it, who am I to stop you?

Pretty nice brown ale - one of Duck-Rabbit's lighter beers I've had.

Real-ale-like loose foam at the start, drops to nothing... liquid looks flat, burgundy, with a slight glow... Mostly fruity hops and higher alcohols on the nose - vibrant yet fairly mellow.... fairly potent nuance of caramel cuts through its bold blend of sweetish, bread-crusty malt, soft floral/melon hop flavor and bitterness, and tonic, warm rush of booze.... as round a mouthfeel as they come without any residual viscosity - surprisingly light on palate.

Overall, it has a pleasant, bold, malty flavor with a nice, soft balance with the hops/alcohol. Taste-wise, I could have a couple in a sitting, but it's more of a one-a-day beer.
