Appearance: Dark, tri-fingered head. Poured her fairly aggressively, but I really wanted to open her up. Recedes with a fair amount of lacing, taking its time as it ebbs away to reveal a glorious brew. Hardly a ray of light penetrates the glass, save for slight tinges at the bottom of my tapered pint glass. The color's pure Belgian Dark Choco.
Smell: The lactose (milk sugar) hits the nose fast, along witha nice, roasty malt odor. I also notice huge elements of coffee and dark chocolate. All the essentials for a beer like this.
Taste: Sweet, but not overly so. The name's a bit deceiving in that department; alas, it is only a name. I sense that this beer wouldn't be very sessionable for a normal beer drinker. Granted, I'm a different breed.
Mouthfeel: Perfectly balanced carbonation. Really couldn't ask for more in this department. Taste stays on the palate well after each sip is swallowed.
Drinkability: As I said: Most probably wouldn't drink more than a couple of these. But that's fine: More Milk Stout for tomorrow.
***I don't typically drink Stouts, but this one puts me right where I need to be. You'd think it would be a little heavier, alcohol-wise. But it ain't a prob; I'm not trying to get wasted while I'm drinking some this good. Spot on, Duck Rabbit.

Very carbonated. Poured with a very tall tan head. A lot of carbonation which you can tell based on the pop of the bottle cap. The beer itself is dark brown. Smells of roasted malts, slight coffee and chocolate. Nutty and bready too. The taste is of dark, roasted malts as well as chocolate and espresso. It's a medium bodied brew that's smooth and sticky. Very solid beer here.
