Had this on tap poured into a pint glass. It has a nice amber appearance itch a good head a good lacing. The tast is better than average in the amber category. The mouthfeel is good ands it is well carbonated. Overall, this is a solid B to B+ beer. It's definitely worth a try.

Pours a dark caramel amber with a thin a layer of white head that quickly fades to a thin layer. The nose has notes of grains and burnt toast. The flavor has notes of sweet caramel, toasted malt, and mild earthy hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, smooth, and moderately carbonated.

This is a smooth beer and easily drinkable, but it's rather lacking in flavor and forgettable.

A- Amber is an appropriate color description. Minimal head and lacing. Clear as can be.

S- A pretty standard smelling sweet/malty combo. I like the smell but nothing great stands out. Don't detect any hop presence.

T- Similar to the scent it has a nice sweet/malty flavor that is pleasing but not exceptional. Don't get much hop character if at all.

M- Pretty light mouthfeel, medium carbonation. It's a smooth drinking beer.

O- Just slightly above average across the board. What I would expect of a good amber ale. Very sessionable and enjoyable.

Tap at Raleigh pub.

Pours an amber gold with a white lacing.

Nose is coppery and bready with a hint of brown sugar malt.

Flavor is mildly hoppy and again bready with some brown sugar malts and a hint of coppery undertone.

Medium body with tingly carbonation.

Decent but not stellar, never been a huge fan of the style but there are others I like better than this one. Would have it again in a pinch, but there are other beers I would have first, including at NG's.

[Best served in a Shaker glass]

The pour was a medium brown with a yellow hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) frothy off white head that diminished to a thin layer of residue and lasted throughout creating some really good spotty sticky lacing.

The aroma was of mild bread and grain malts, an herbal hop and a sweet earthy yeast with notes of toffee and caramel.

The taste was lightly sweet and malty with just a mild hint of toffee at first and then got a little hop bite with a nice caramel note at the end. The flavor lasted a decent amount of time with a slight hoppiness left at the finish.

Mouthfeel was just a bit above light in body with the texture being a bit watery and a tad dry with a lively carbonation.

Overall a nice tasty Amber ale with a nice mild hoppiness to it. But it seems that everything I try from this brewer is quite tasty.
