A new seasonal at Natty's this is no mistake about it a wit!Pours a hazy straw ith a thin wispy head, aromas of toasted cereal grain with some light citrus.A light flavorful ale some toasted grain and lemon pith but on the lighter side, very delicate but flavorful.Board says a beer for the hot summer months,I could see myself drinking a few of these in July, a quaffable easy drinking "wit" remember that!

Served by brewery rep's at the NC Brewers Fest.

A: pours with a rich and large off-white head. Cloudy yellow-gold colored liquid.

S delicate and floral, with some earthy/yeasty tones. Hints of orange, chamomile and lemon.

T: More fruity than flowery with light yeast and white bread. Faint hops. No clove (not missed).

M: Smooth and refreshing; the medium body is more substantial than might be expected. Very good carbonation.

O: works well as intended: a witbier for a hot summer day.

On-tap at the brewpub.

Pours a cloudy lemon-yellow color with a 1.5-finger white head. The head settles into a wispy layer on top leaving decent lacing.

Smells of citrus fruits - orange and lemon - with light twang from the wheat along with good amounts of spices - mostly coriander.

Tastes similar to how it smells, though not quite as intense. A good amount of wheat flavors kick things off and are joined shortly by good amounts of citrus fruit flavors. Midway through the sip light hints of spices enter into things then fade, giving way to the citrus fruit flavors that carry through to an ending that is equally sweet and bitter.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with grainy carbonation.

Drinkability is good. I finished the glass without a problem and could have another.

Overall this is a solid witbier but it doesn't manage to do any one thing exceptionally well. Still, worth a shot, particularly in the warmer months.

Pretty golden, slightly amber beer under a white tight-bubbled head. Lacing is sparse, and head fades rather quickly. Even haziness throughout. Aroma is lightly sweet, with grains and bread, lemon, pepper, herbs, and slight creamy bananas. Nice and fresh too. Taste is pleasant and refreshing. Same nice bready malt topped with bright lemon citrus. Sliiiight tanginess as well. Fairly simple. Mouthfeel is slick and somewhat gritty/resinous. Overall a good solid wit. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Very much looks the part, with a cloudy liquid the color of pear/pineapple juice, and a super-creamy inch-thick head that lasts a good while before lessening, although it never drops totally out of sight.

A delicate aroma. Definite wildflower vibe, with plenty of peach and pear, some green apple and lemon, and a little bit of earthy presence from the yeast. A little more yeast would've done the trick, especially with the fresh white-bread malt character.

Flavor is on the grassy side, not quite astringent, but hovering around there somewhere (especially in the finish). Flowery, herbal, with tart green apple, lemon and just a little bit of earth/soil thanks to the yeast. Crisp and smooth, this kind of snaps in the mouth, yet the gentle, airy body keeps it from seeming impolite.

Super-refreshing...a slightly bulkier, sweeter malt character would've pushed this onto another level, but as is, no complaining. Certainly a perfect choice for a hot summer day in the south.

Pours a light, clear golden color with 1/4" of fizzy head that fades pretty quickly. There is a ton of carbonation rising to the top. The nose is very faint; you can barely notice some clove, lemon, and yeast. The taste is also very subdued. You get notes of lemon grass, very faint orange zest, and clove spice. The mouthfeel is very light. The carbonation is intense with a soda-like fizzyness.

I would avoid this one. Natty Greene's isn't a phenomenal brewery, but they definitely have better offerings than this.

A. Bright gold and a little hazy. Nice puffy head at first but dwindles to a ring around the edges.

S. Moldy basement, grass clippings, and lemons.

T. Quite refreshing and clean. No real spice going on, but a citrusy and light acidic zing makes this one a thirst quencher.

M. Light bodied and high carbonation. Maybe just a little abraisive on the tongue. Not smooth, in other words.

D. Very drinkable as its a light sessioner. Nothing standoutish, but goes down easily and isn't offensive.

Served from bottle into a Stone nonic. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a one finger pure white head that subsides to a minimal amount fairly quickly. Maintains nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma is comprised of sweet malt, wheat, and bananas. The flavor is of sweet malt, subtle wheat, and bananas. It has a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this is not a bad Witbier. I was expecting it to be a lot worse than it was, but was quite surprised. Nice aroma and flavor going on here, but nothing to jump up and down about... Worth trying if you are a fan of the style or like lighter brews.

Enjoyed on tap at the Old Town Draught House in Greensboro.

The beer arrived with a cloudy orange body and a good sized white head. It tasted pretty good, a little above par for a Witbier, with fresh wheat and a hint of citrus. However, it wasn't particularly extraordinary. It's a good everyday Witbier, I'd get it over Hoegaarden if only to save money.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours hazy pale yelloe with ring of white foam. Thin layer. Chalky smell, minor. Wheaty. Citrus taste, lemon finish. Light, with strong tartness at the conclusion.

Quite tasty, all blends together nicely. Good summer brew.

No freshness date, poured into a pint. Bottle was a gusher upon opening

A- pours a hazy golden yellow color with a small creamy white head that retains nicely, leaving some chart lasting lace behind

S- crisp wheat with some floral hop, coriander & orange peel, light earthy tones

T- wheat and crisp up front with notes of coriander and other spicy notes, clean and malty finish

M- medium body with very low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and a slick finish. All of the carbonation must have left when the bottles gushed upon opening

O- middle of the road witbier, not offensive but doesn't stand out

12 oz. A somewhat hazy gold pour, half a finger of white head. Sticks ok.

Aroma, grainy malt and hay. Minimal yeasty spice.

Taste, mild clove, camomile, nutmeg, yeast spice. Hay like wheat and lemon zest finish.

For such a small beer it is very mouth filling. Hearty medium wheaty body. Carbonation is almost creamy.

Even though they are local I don't drink much Natty Green because their stuff seems so generic. This is another un-offensive tasting brew, but the body is quite interesting. Glad I tried this.
