Wow! When you haven't had a decent IPA in a while, this is like a resurrection! Wonderful orange=peach glow beneath a two finger foamy head, lacing galore. This is one nice looking IPA!

Grapefruit nose, lots of citrus and pine aroma's. Taste is brilliantly balanced with citrus-y hops and a sweet malt backdrop that brings it all together. It strikes me as right on the mark , This is a really tasty IPA, I was tempted to score it a 5. Parched aftertaste is delightfully citrus and pitted fruit, nice body and mouthfeel true to the style. Bold but agreeable as a sessional with food, one of my favourite beer styles. This would never not be in my fridge if I had access to it. In that regard, thanks to biegaman for sharing.

12 oz can poured into a tulip. From my latest shipment of beer of the every other month club.

A - pretty good. Nice orange body with creamy head.

N - nice citrusy hop scent. Not Much else.

T - not bad. Basic hops and malts profile.

M - medium carbonation, decent bitterness on the aftertaste.

O - certainly not the best Ipa ever, but it was a fine enough beer.

Aroma: Soft lemony and flowery hop aromas up front. Light caramel and biscuit notes in the background. Light yeasty character noted as the beer is agitated.

Appearance: Hazy dense amber pour with a moderate sudsy cream head that retains well.

Flavor: More lemony and slight evergreen notes assert themselves. There is a pleasant biscuit caramel base that supplies a firm counterpoint. Balance is to the earthy hop bitterness but the malt presence is definitive. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and lingers.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Slight hop derived astringency. No alcohol heat.

Overall impression: A malty American IPA. I like the hop character but the malt presence is decidedly firm and “East Coast” in nature. It’s well-crafted and enjoyable.

Pours a cloudy light copper color with at least a finger of head that took some time to dissipate. The head left nice lacing as it slowly receded. The nose is quite nondescript. The flavor profile is more akin to an English IPA. The hop profile is mild even by English IPA standards.
