A deep amber color with full body head and generous lacing. A nice citrus/bready aroma with flavor to match.
A very enjoyable brew!

12oz can into a glass. Illegible coding on base of can.
Looks very nice in the glass. Deep amber body, faintly hazy. Good size off white head which retained throughout leaving decent lacing.
Light musty aroma.
On tasting, it's a well balanced beer, hop slightly ahead. There is a very faint sour astringency.
Mouth above medium, finish bitter and a little astringent.
All in all, not a bad beer, abv well hidden, better than I expected.

A very nice and grapefruity IPA. Very smooth and velvet in the mouth. Pairs well with the Backwoods Country Dip

I enjoyed this beer very much to my surprise....coming from a very local brewery that I haven't tried enough.
It had a beautiful deep amber color with full body head and intense lacing along with it.
As for taste...I'm not quite sure what did it for me ,but it was a very pleasant and nice citrus/bready flavor that just worked for me.
The aroma was again a nice bready/citrus flair to it...very pleasant.
Overall it was a very enjoyable drink...to where I had to ring the can out, to get every last drop. Hope you enjoy as much as I did !!!!

It pours dark amber with a huge head and some really cool lacing. The aroma is very piney and with lots of floral qualities. Intense sharp bitterness throughout and a chewable body. Very enjoyable.

-Labeled as a true India Pale Ale...
A: A dark candy orange-caramel coloring pour contradicts the initial claim rather quickly of a true Indian PALE ale. A strong swirling nature of effervesce rages within with a two finger smooth creamy topping that was firm in its stance and structure. A nice color, despite my expectations otherwise, strong visual and capping with final thoughts of clumpy lace deposits conclude here.
S: An aroma of wet stone fruit, grapefruit is strong, mixing with some sweet citrus notes. A hearty strong speciality malting adds depth and toastiness, of freashly baked bready notes, along with a final mention of dry lemon straw.
T: Deep toasted malt adds a sturdy nature to the flavor, as with the nose, provides bready depth, along with some dry pine and dry citrus. Dry hopping is evident, old school flair, with a strong bitterness factor, though a bit one dimensional. Bready malts and a citrus twang rounds out.
M: Mouthful was bready, an continuing occurance throughout the drink, dry and bitter with a warming sense of dry hops glowing on the inner cheeks. A bit of hop flowerys detected on tongue.
O: A dry and bitter ipa, flavor was old school, dry hopped, citrus-pine, that gives you a hearty dose of hops. Deep toasted speciality grains adds backing, but again perhaps contradicts the original claim of a true ipa.

12 oz can. Date on bottom, but it's smeared
Dark amber in color, foamy white head. Aroma smells a bit stale. Taste is a touch oxidized, but bitter with caramel malt flavor. Medium bodied.

(Revised 10/27/21) Poured into a half pint glass: color is copper, a bit hazy, translucent, head presents at least 1 inch deep and lingers very, very well with thick frothy top and good lacing on the glass.
Smell is mostly malt forward, light hops/malt are restrained - light toast, biscuit, caramel, then herbal/grassy hops.
Taste is malt forward with biscuit, toast, caramel, hops are herbal, grassy, light pine.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall this drinks like an english IPA labeled as an american IPA; solid malt backbone, earthy herbal hops, some off notes in the flavor tasted on first try were not present.

On tap at the Penn Stater
Pours dark copper color, 2 finger head. Sticky lacing.
Nose is apricot and bready malts
taste carries a full malt base and delicate hops with the apricot predominant. Touch of bitterness. Becomes a tad sweet but not overly so.
Medium to light bodied with medium carbonation. A bit on the watery side but it goes down very easily. Not dry but has a bit of a clean finish.
Pretty nice surprise for now knowing about this beer or brewer. Showcases malt more so than hops but its not overdone. Balanced but maybe leaning a bit away from an IPA and more towards a pale ale. Nonetheless, pretty good.
