Had this yesterday. Fresh from the Brewery in Slippery Rock, PA.

A- Deep dark thick brown/black. Collar of foam as a head. The head was thick and syrupy. Tan in color.

S- Sweet roasted burnt. A little bit of a nutty smell.

T- A good stout. A little bit dry for a milk stout but still very good. Heavy and thick, this is something to have for dessert. Rich, buttery, and nutty. Maple sugar comes to mind.

M- Chewy like mud. Leaves a little bit of a dry alcohol taste in your mouth. Similar to a mackeson's XXX. Everything is smooth and balanced but the finish. A little rough.

D- Great to get a growler of it and enjoy it that night. It's the cheapest way to do it.

Pours a black color with a ring head that is off white in color and gives way to a nice lacing. The aroma is of roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is of a roasted malt backbone with a chocolate malt on top and an oatmeal taste to finish of the flavor. The mouthfeel is silky with no carbonation. The drinkability is okay, there could be a little more flavor but there is nothing to make you dislike the beer, this beer is slightly heavy.

tap

Pours dark opaque, no light passes through, thin film of a head.

The smell is brown sugar malty and slightly toasty.

Taste is similar, with a smokey note and a bit of hop bitterness.

Feel is moderate, on the thinner side, minimal carbonation.

Tasty stout, nice surprise, good flavor, not the best but very good.

The body of feedback stout is a very dark brown, and a collar of head is brown in color. Retention and lacing are both pretty good.

The aroma has lots of roasted malt and some chocolate.

Roasted malt is featured heavily in the flavor also, with some dark malt to back it up. Just a touch of charred malt, and a little bit of chocolate is in there too, with some caramel to back it up. Just a hint of hop bitterness comes through in the finish.

Nice body, smoothly carbonated.

Feedbag is pretty good overall, and I would consider ordering it again.

S- somewhat undetectable-maybe a thick roasted smell.

T- rich and rosbust. chocolate and malt.

M- thick oatmeal body. low carbonation. very smooth.

D- this was a great stout and it was very drinkable.

Served on-tap at the brewery on 5-23-14

A - Ruby brown almost black with one finger of off white head, no lacing.
S - Roasted oats, a little burnt chocolate, earthiness to it too, some woodiness.
T - Mild roasted malt, a little watery, some nutty, oat quality.
M - Medium body and rather smooth, but kinda metallic.
O - Decent Oat stout. But it lacks a little substance.

A fantastic stout. It's rich, malty, and bold yet smooth. It has a great silky mouthfeel that softens the robust roasted chocolate and coffee flavors. Not the most drinkabale beer as one might expect from the style, but definately one of my favorite oatmeal stouts. I wish it was available more often.

growler -> goblet
6.8% abv

Pours black with a small brown head that disappears quickly but leaves some nice brown spiderweb lace. The lace looks good for a little while then fades away.

Nose: Roasted malts, some dark fruit, chocolate

Taste: A smokey taste similiar to the Friars Porter. Chocolate, some burnt grains, and oats on the finish. Slight balancing bitterness.

Mouthfeel is creamy and thick, with a light carbonation that works great.

This brew is smooth and drinkable.
