Growler -> american pint
Pours a light amber copper with a one inch head that settles to a pangean clump of erradic suds. Lace is mostly non existant, what makes it on the glass soon disappears. Carbonation is robust and bubbley.
Nose: Rich caramel malt nose with hints of apricot and coriander.
Taste: Intitially hit by a hop bittering blast, that quickly is overcome with a rich sweet malt. The bittering finish brings the brew full circle. Different and tastey.
Mouthfeel: Feels thin and crisp. Seems a bit below where it should be, but my growler is a day old, though not uncapped until 14.4 minutes ago.
Drinkability: This beer is sure to be liked by the masses. Enough character and bitterness to keep you interested.
Kudos to North Country and the brewmaster for pushing the envelope by offering so many various styles, much appreciated by the beer drinking kingdom..
Serving type: growler
