This is a great place to go grab a bite to eat, fill up the growler, or meet with friends for a night out. In the heart of Slippery Rock, this brewery has it all, a great atmosphere, a friendly staff, and good food and drink.
The year round beers would be good enough, but as the seasons change, so do the beers, and some of their seasonal brews stand tall. I have given many of them a try and a few of my favorites are the Buck Snort Stout, Feedbag Stout, and the Paleo IPA.
The farm to fork beef burgers and the beer cheese and pretzel appetizers are great. I have never left on an empty stomach and have never been disappointed. If you find yourself in Slippery Rock, either visiting someone at the nearby College, or just by chance, this brewery is a must visit.

North Country Brewing. Made the 45 min trip to the brewery last weekend, the atmosphere is great, eclectic, and rather large inside. Food was outstanding we had the BBQ bacon buffalo burger, it was outstanding. The brew a bit disappointing seemed a little weak and watered- down for my taste.

Great establishment. Helpful and friendly staff. Quality food from [mostly] local ingredients with many options for omnivores and herbivores alike. The beer is great too, and all their own brews. Just don't get too attached to a specific one because they change what's on tap fairly regularly.

four words: I'll never go back. they are very hipsterish with a fake layed back feel. but once any little thing bad happens they seem to go on lock down. their food is mediocre at best and the beer selection might as well be coors, miller, and budweiser b/c of their beers lackluster flavors. also the owners wife is a real unpleasant person. the owner bob is alright but kind of a fake hippie, but still leaps and bounds nicer than his wife.

North Country Brewing Company is a nice little place in a small college town. Food is delicious, and I'd highly recommend stopping in for some food and a couple beers. Great selection in terms of the food and beer. Wide varieties in both. Cool atmosphere as well. Looks like a mountain lodge. Service is good too. If you're in the area, check it out. Not really worth driving more than an hour to come here though.
