Stopped here while nearby at the airport, trying to find somewhere that had Hooker's Hop Meadow IPA. After a seemingly endless string of crummy package stores across the north-central edge of CT, I found this oasis. Ok, maybe it's not an oasis, but it was the only place I found bombers of Hop Meadow.

They also had a cooler door of imports, and a few doors of various micros. I was impressed that for such a comparitively small store, there were three registers all open, no waiting!

Seems like this would be a nice home base store, where you could find some of the more hard-to-find items, even though not carrying the variety of some larger stores. Ample parking, which was nice as well.

This is my local package store.

Specializing mostly in wine, they do have a small but decent selection of micros available. Among the better selections available here are some of the following:

Thomas Hooker Old Marley Barleywine
Thomas Hooker APA
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Victory Hopdevil
Victory Golden Monkey

I'm sure there's more (not a lot more), but I can't remember it at the moment.

The service, oddly, has been friendlier when I've called than when I've visited, offering to check with their distributers for various items and whatnot.

Overall, not a place to go out of your way to find. If you live in this area I would recommend Manchester Wine and Liquors first. Use this place if it happens to be closer and you need a quick fix.

New ownership. Still a limited selection, but the new owner is more interested in microbrews. Such things as Smuttynose, Thomas Hooker Munich, Oktoberfest and others have been showing up. Pleasant surprise, to say the least. Upgraded service & selection ratings.
