12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: The beer poured a small head that quickly reduced to a thin layer. A crimson red/orange color with slight signs of carbonation.
Smell: all the trditional spices: cinnamon, ginger, sugar/brown sugar, nutmeg, all spice. Almost like what belongs in an apple pie or apple crumb. Some bready notes too. Forgot to mention all the sweet malts
Taste: Same as above. Everything blends well together.
Mouthfeel: medium to high carbonation, full bodied, smooth, and a little chewy. Carbonation could probably be scaled back a little bit.
Overall: I have been drinking this beer for years. Not to bad, but can only have a few due to getting full over the course of a night. Still a nice beer that warms you up like the name applies.
Serving type: bottle
