This beer pours a clear golden yellow color with a large white semi creamy head. The mouthfeel is moderate. The smell is sweet spicy and floral. The taste is slightly astringent hoppy in front with a breadlike middle and a lingering bitter finish. This is a descent sharp drinkable pilsner that is good rather than great.

A clear, golden yellow Pilsner with a large, white, somewhat creamy head. The smell is hoppy with a slight cedar quality. The taste is hoppy and slightly astringent with an effervescence and a slight bitter finish. the body is thin to firm in my mouth. Overall, I found it a bit hoppier than I expected for a pilsner, but pleasing none-the-less.

The beer pours that quintessential “Pilsener” limpid gold color with a brilliant white head and a fine covering of lace. Crisp and clean, fresh and pleasing to the nose. Malt sweet at the start with a skinny top and a stinging acidity at the finish. Hops are modest and the aftertaste dry, a quaffable beer, but certainly not their best.

Presentation: 12oz brown with the traditional Harpoon checkered theme label. Blurb about the brew on the neck, an ink jet printed bottled on date above the label.

Appearance: A well formed foamy white head floats on top of a very golden, and very clear brew.

Smell: Mix of bready malt, floral / spicy hop and a ghost like fruitiness.

Taste: Medium bodied with a crisp malty pale malt palate. Moderate herbal and spicy flavour amongst the semi assertive bitterness and carbonation bite. Light biscuit flavour with in the bready malt taste. Hop herbal flavour and a husky grain linger far into the after taste.

Notes: Well structured, perfect mouth feel with a German like pilsner flare. Great with a hearty chili and fresh baked biscuits.

A very good spicy pilsner with a complex taste including slight residual sweetness - very refreshing and drinkable!

The color is a darker gold then most pilsners. There's a huge head that dissipates rather quickly to a small thin layer that hangs around to the finish. I found it very easy to drink with crisp/clean taste. I'm not a big fan of Pilsners but I found this one to be very drinkable.

I am not big on Pilsners but this one i like alot.
Starts with a somewhat rocky head that goes away to a thin wispy head that stays all the way down leaving light rings the whole way. Crystal clear with a spicieness to it. I like this because it isn't as Biscuity as most Pilsners.

A good Pilsner. Not as light (overall) as you might expect from a traditional Pils, but none the less a good beer.
