A:Golden amber hue, as described on the bottle, is quite accurate. 1 1/2 fingers of light cream colored head. The creamy head leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass.
S: Classic caramel and peppery malt aroma that reminds me of the smell of my first home brew. Hints of lemon and floral hops mixed in as well.
T: Good caramel backbone in this one with hints of belgian candied sugar and lemon in the finish. Rich caramel flavor reminds me of the sugary caramel flavor of coca cola.
M: Medium bodied beer with creamy smooth carbonation.
D: Good, Interesting mix of belgian and pale ale characteristics. A good flavorful brew.
Have tried this beer on two occasions, and it was more mellow and the flavors blended more in the bottle and seemed more bitter when I had it on tap.
