Poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color with a finger's worth of off white foamy head that slid off at a good pace. Not much lace, but somewhat stringy running here and there.
The aroma had a deep blend of dark and milk chocolate tones running about - nice and bold and up front then a subtle roastiness from some coffee tones came in for a delicate blend.
The flavor was mostly sweet with the roastiness trying to present a fair balance, but seemed to sit just a hair in the background. Slight aftertaste of the roast and then a slight touch of toast with a little bit of cocoa powder.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt on par. Semi-smooth with a bitter to roasty sort of edge on the finish.
Overall, pretty nice as what I thought was a milk/sweet stout. I'd have again.

Aroma Is Dark Chocolate, coffee. Dark black color. Smallish tan head. Taste us bitter chocolate and coffee plus a touch of black cherry. Fudge, Toast. A touch flat.
Pretty tasty beer, but a little too sweet, and not enough body for a stout.

Dark black color and carmel head. Not too thick in terms of mouthfeel. Probably too much chocolate with this one. Almost a bitter taste to it with the amount of chocolate.

Pours dark with a tan head. Smells of dark chocolate and chocolate syrup. Tastes very chocolatey and almost sweet like chocolate syrup. I found this was an excellent pairing with chocolate covered pretzels. It felt a bit thin and watery. Overall not bad, very chocolatey and not bitter or too sweet.
