A blend of 2 barrel-aged beers; one an Oktoberfest aged on Brett. Wild Turkey barrels were previously used for beer and cider.

Reviewed from notes.
Pours a dark brown color with a thin tan head and a spot or two of lacing on the edges of the glass. The nose is really nice, bringing forward a moderate amount of roast before adding in some sour cherries and other dark fruit. Moderate lactic presence as well as a light touch of woody character. The flavor has some brisk acidity plus cherries and some dark fruits. Slightly vinous. Feel is fairly light with a good acidity leading to a dry acidity. A pretty nice brew and certainly a good early attempt at a sour.

This was the worst beer I've ever had. An ambitious idea, but ultimately a complete misfire. Sours and marzans simply don't mix. The taste was wooden and vinegary, the smell almost offensively sour. All in all a mess of an effort from an otherwise decent brewery.

Found at DiCiccos in Ardsley, New York.
A. It has a rich, extremely dark brown color. Limited head and little lacing, Basically opaque.
S. That has a massive alcohol scent and malt.
T. It has a black cherry taste and a lovely sourness to it. Some good thick malt taste and a nice bitter bite. It has a bit of a soapy aftertaste.
M. It is so smooth and full bodied.
O. Very flavorful, but a tamed sour.

Poured from growler purchased at deciccos ardlsey into snifter. Pours a ruby brown with slight rim of foam. Great sour cherry and slight caramel. Awesome sour cherry and caramel dunkel with a nice tart finish. Great feel...tart thin with a long finish.
Awesome sour with big cherry and bruin influence. A shame its retired.
