A: Golden, bronze. Lots of floaties. A fingers worth of head. Some patchy lacing. Average.
S: Ginger, light orange peel, a bit of graham cracker too. Not bad.
T: Maybe a bit too much ginger. Leaves a bad, very dry aftertaste. I was expecting something a bit more sweeter, candy-like, but this is harsh. I do get a vaguely lemon peel, but it just adds to the unpleasantness.
M: Dry, struggling with finishing the bomber.
O: Not worthy of another purchase. I'd have passed on buying a bottle if I could have tried a sample.

22 oz. bottle, with best by date of 09/15/2012 printed on the side of the bottle, barely readable after all this time in the cooler. My local beer store still had a few of these left, so I figured it was time to check it out.
Poured into a clear balloon snifter glass.
A - Pours a light bright golden orange colored body with some bubbles and some fine sediment floating around. Two and a half fingers of white / off-white bubbly head. Looks like a nice IPA, and definitely doesn't look at all like a year past it's prime.
S - Smell conjures some grains, wheat, light ginger spice, honey, lots of herbal spice rack notes like oregano and thyme. Tart lemon. A hint of soapiness. Doesn't smell like a beer past it's prime, either.
T - Taste follows the nose, only better and more intense in a lot of ways. Tart, citric lemon, spicy ginger, bitter hops, bready malt, graininess & some sweet corn. This doesn't taste like a beer nearly a year past it's enjoy by date, either.
M - Feel is crisp, brisk, sticky, & fruity. A hint of the spicy ginger lingering onto the palate.
Overall, this is some smooth, clean, light, and easy drinking at 7.00% abv. And this beer has held up exceptionally well, considering I am the first person to review it in nearly a year. I just might have to go back and get more of this. Looking forward to more of these 100 Barrel Series beers by Harpoon, since they've been turning out nicely.
