While tooling around one of my favorite small towns I picked up a brochure and found this place in it the advertisement said 350 different beers on shelf so I had to check it out.Sits right in the heart of the historic district of Lexington a nice big green sign makes it easy to see from a distance, right as you walk in the beers are right there off to the the left there is a shelf and a long cooler that takes up the whole left side of the market.Singles and six packs of different Thirsty Dog,Stone,Smuttynose,Green Flash, and Yards just to name a few and the best Selection VA micros I have seen although I havent been to Vintage cellars.I bought twelve singles and a St. George Dragon mixed pack and it came to less than $30.00 so I got out cheap.Well with my wifes granmother living close to Lexington this is a place I go to everytime when visiting for sure.

Nice little store in downtown Lexington, being from NC, anyplace in VA is heavenly to me. Not quite as exotic a selection as Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, where I stopped a couple of days earlier, in that a lot of the beers here are available in NC. Still, I picked up some Old Rasputin, Chimay White, Troegenator Double Bock, Brasserie Des Rocs Blonde, Old Peculier. I was kind of surprised that everything was in the cooler, as I was getting ready to leave I saw that they had some good stuff unrefrigerated on top of the cooler (!?!!), including a nice St. Bernardus gift set with a glass and 4 different beers, including the highly coveted Abt 12, but I was afraid I would break something if I tried to get it down (and I'm 6'1"), there was only one clerk in the place, so I just passed on it.

I just checked my stash, I've got a bottle of Aventinus and a Weihenstephaner Korbinian, I think I got those here, but it may have been at Vintage Cellar.

They carried everything that Samuel Smith makes, which was nice.
All in all, a good store, I'll go back if I'm up that way.
