Beer bottle (33cl. 75cl.), tasted in 2004 & 2007.
Appearance: blond color (limpid), with white foam head.
Smell : cereal aromas.
Taste & mouthfeel :cereals and grains flavours, alcohol, low bitterness.
Drinkability : a good beer in the French style "bière de garde".

Fizzy soda-pop-like head that dissipates quick. The upcoming bubbles are almost violent in replenishing the head. Yellow straw color; clear.
Lots of earthy aromas of wet straw and mud. A touch of lemon peel in the background. Some notable wheat nose.
Far more sweet than the smell would indicate. Thin and bubbly body. A sweet cherry background (although there is no fruit). I cannot detect any hop. No wheat in the taste, either. Rather bland compared to similarly styled beers.
This is an interesting beer that defies typical descriptions. It isn't sour or fruity enough to be compared to a lambic. Yet there are elements of that in here. It isn't bland enough to be placed into a macro definition, yet the body is reminiscent of an American "Lager".
