Absolutely no lasting bubbles from the pour; obviously there's no lace whatsoever. The color is dark brown where the faintest of light shines through.
First impression: the smell of a stale refridgerator. This is quickly replaced with the destinctive chocolate malt aroma.
Imagine bittersweet cocoa with milk for the flavor; the body is weak with a higher carbonation than necessary.
My notes described this as a weak brown ale.
