Elk Head brews this spring seasonal as a maibock but calls it a lager. Sadly, it conforms to the same standards of infected off-notes as their roster of ales. The beer is yellow with an odd tinge of green and refuses lather. It emits a foul and lamentable aroma with an identical flavor lacking in cleanliness or any sense of malt and hops harmony. Frankly, it's just plain bad.
