Our 7200′ Stout is poured with compressed nitrogen to insure smoothness. Its flavors blend with the hop bitterness making it a brewery favorite, always on tap at Altitude.

A: Dark, almost black pour into a pint glass with a 3/4 inch brown head. Looks beautiful.
S: None. (Note: My nose had been stuffed up earlier)
T: It feels like drinking a good cappuccino when your lip is enveloped by the foam and then the actual liquid touches your mouth. The feeling is great. It tastes like darkness, burnt malt. The nitro softens it.
M: Slight coco, a hint of hops and good malts, but not sweet. My first thought was "Imperial Stout" in the best way.
D: A really good stout. A head of 1/8 inch lasted to the end. Don't expect the chocolate and coffee notes that it;s advertised for to be strong. This is good though. It is a great tasting Imperial Stout. I just noticed that on BA it is listed as an "American Stout" but it tastes more like an "Imperial Stout" and that's what the brewery lists it as too.

On tap at altitude $3 a pint.
A: dark brown with about half an inch of nitro-dense tan head. Excellent retention pretty fair lacing. Nice looking stout.
S: bitter coffee and dark chocolate, a few hints of smoke and roasted barley. Nice.
T: follows the nose nicely with roasted malt, chocolate and coffee, slightly smoky as well. Big coffee flavors and a somewhat bitter earthy hop character. Alcohol is noticeable.
M: deceptively thick from the nitro, slightly warm alcohol. Nice
D: fairly easy to drink but noticeable alcohol holds this off from being a session. Nice beer, and one of the first stouts I really got into. Check it out if you're in Laramie, well worth it.

Sampled an 8oz cup of this at yesterday's Platte River Fall Festival.
Nice very dark brown colour with a 1" head of tan foam.
The smell had notes of coffee and roasted malt. Also some chocolate.
The taste had some coffee, toffee, roasted malt, sweet chocolate, which grew as the session went on, and some hop bitterness that was mostly in the finish. Good stuff. A good drop, and easy drinking for a 7%abv brew.
It was medium bodied, carbonation was medium, and it finished slightly bitter and had a slight sourish note to it.
Bottom line: A good American Stout that had some Milk Stout traits to it, I'd drink this again without hesitation.
