An unassuming place to buy great beer. From the outside you might only expect macrobrew... but on the inside you have a good selection of some GREAT beer. Unibroue, DFH, Anchor, Ommegang and fantastic imports as well- Samichlaus, Silly, and more!!!!
The pricing is the best part... I just picked-up a Magnum of 2009 Anchor Christmas there for $12.99!! I would definitely go back- and I definitely recommend it to friends.
Bonus- it's attached to Racer's Cafe, which has killer deals on draft beer!!

Having grown up in the wild West of Arizona I became accustomed to not having to worry about what day it was when I wanted to buy beer. Despite its being a blue state, AZ's only repressive alcohol policy was the 1AM closing of all bars. Since moving to Maryland I have had the privilege of overstaying my welcome to the customary hour of 2AM but somehow this red state retains holdover blue laws prohibiting me from purchasing alcohol from a store on Sundays... UNLESS there is a bar attached.
Thankfully, Harford Beverage is connected to Racer's Cafe. Instead of slogging into a Baltimore City bar I didn't want to go to in the first place for carry-out, and picking from a minuscule selection of available take out beers, I make plenty of unplanned trips to the county on Sundays. Harford Beverage has most of what I want, though not everything, and they have it on Sunday. They're friendly, they're quick and amazingly, they'll also trade out CO2 tanks for about $8 if you have to force carb a beer with little notice before the big game. Driving 25 minutes is worth it when the beer prices aren't busy gouging the less pious residents of Baltimore.

Small, but excellent beer store attached to the wonderful Racers Cafe (its a bar). The thing that kicks the most ass about this place, behind its selection, is that it is open on Sunday. They usually have the area's best keg selection in stock and can special order things with ease. Bottle selection is excellent, though limited in number. They always have hard to find micros and imports, and also make a good effort to get stuff that is brand new to the market. Another advantage is that you can stop into Racers nextdoor and enjoy one of their 20 craft brews on tap for a paltry $2.50 or 3 for $5 at Happy Hour/Game Day. Service at Hartford can be hit or miss. Look for Skip when you're in there, he's usually wearing a soccer jersey and knows what he's talking about. The other guys are a gamble but will help you as much as they can.
