Had this on St Patty's weekend. A good looking beer, nice lacing on top of a light golden/amber body. However, the Imperial IPA aspect just doesn't fit. The hops were nice, and this beer is good, but for the style it falls short. Citrus and flower overpower the pine aspect in the taste. And they aren't that strong. Malt characteristics are nice, a I suppose since they are a bit weak this makes it the 2IPA. A good beer, nonetheless, just labeled incorrectly, imo.

Clear copper, with a lasting bright white head. Nose is citrus and pine hops. Taste is syrupy pine hop that lingers on the tongue. Somewhat one-noted hoppiness, but it's a good fresh west coast hop flavor. Mouthfeel is decent, as is drinkability. Not a bad IPA from Wynkoop.
