Located in the LoDo area of Denver. A very large brick building situated near Coors field and many other beer bars. It is a three story brewpub with a comedy bar downstairs. The location couldn't be better.

Don't worry about getting a place to belly up, as there is ample seating and they even have pool tables upstairs!

I have had the food here many times and have found it to be average brewpub fare. Some odd balls like lamb sliders and the normal burgers and wraps. I had the blue crab cakes this time, and they were very good.

They have also stepped up their game in terms of beers. Along with the normal porters and IPA's they have 3 cask beers on tap at any given time. I had the smoked porter which was GREAT. I also like the seasonals like the TUT, which was a historic beer with wheat and honey. I also enjoyed the wet hop Belgian.

They also donate 50% of their proceeds of their flagship beer.

If this place was in Albany, NY it would be getting straight A's! Great location...good food...good folks...and a great selection of beers that has improved from 4 or 5 years ago. However, too many people are spoiled by the great beer bars and beers in Denver.

I always make a point of visiting Wynkoop when in Denver. With the increased quality of beers, this makes it a top 3 for me when in the area. If you haven't been to Wynkoop in a while, I think it would be worth checking out again. (1,403 characters)

The place is nice and the food is good. The beer is mediocre at best. There's a better beer bar around the corner that's more worth your time. (142 characters)

Great brews, great service, a full vegan menu, and a comedy club downstairs. Left Wynkoop with a "rail ale" t-shirt and pint glass. Trains and beer in one little package. A+ (173 characters)

Nice LoDo Denver brewpub. Some interesting and unique beers, but nothing earth-shattering. The Colorojo imperial red beer is probably my favorite, but is not for the faint of heart. Each time I've been there, several supposedly on-tap beers are not available. Staff has been hit or miss; sometimes attentive and knowledgeable, other times uninterested and slow. Worth going to for the food; great sandwiches and usual pub fare. (432 characters)

Their Belgian IPA and Chili beer were standouts. Chili beer was a great session beer at 4.2%. (94 characters)
